Licensing - Cambridge Postal Services (trading name of Mr John James Dove)
On 14 December 2009 Postcomm granted a postal operator's licence to Mr John James Dove.
Under the licensing framework that took effect from 1 January 2006, was amended in January 2008 and further modified in December 2008, the licence:
- allows Mr Dove, trading as Cambridge Postal Services to provide all types of postal service;
- requires him to comply with codes of practice on mail integrity (safety and security of the mail) and common operational procedures (designed to ensure the multi-operator market works well in practice); and
- is issued for a rolling ten year period.
