Postcomm sets out new approach to Royal Mail product trials

In a direction published today, Postcomm, the independent regulator for postal services in the UK, has set out a new approach to pre-notification of trials for new products from Royal Mail.

Postcomm has recently consulted on the trials notification process, and aims to ensure there is a pragmatic approach to trials that benefits users of postal services by encouraging innovation without hampering the development of competition in the postal services market.
