Postcomm Issues a long term licence to Red Star Parcels (Lynx Mail)

Postcomm today issued a long term licence to Red Star Parcels Ltd, to provide consolidation services (collection and sorting of mail). Red Star Parcels Ltd is owned by Lynx Express Limited and will trade as Lynx Mail.

Following consultation, Postcomm considers that the services provided by Red Star (Lynx) will have no appreciable effect on the provision of a universal service throughout the UK, and will further the interests of users by promoting competition between postal operators.
