DHL Express (formerly Securicor Omega Express)
Securicor Omega Express was granted an interim licence on 22 May 2002, enabling it to provide internal mail services for two clients in the banking sector: Royal Bank of Scotland and HSBC. The company is now trading as DHL Express.
Following the publication of the January 2008 Decision document "Amendment of the 2006 Licensing Framework" (pdf, 277KB), Conditions 9 and 10 of the licence were modified (pdf, 47KB) on 19 March 2008.
In accordance with the establishment of Consumer Focus, the abolition of Postwatch on 30 September 2008 and the transfer of its functions to Consumer Focus, several modifications were required to the licence for example to remove references to Postwatch. Following the issue of a proposals notice in August 2008, Postcomm modified the licence (pdf, 55 KB) in December 2008.
