Mr McGrath, a sole trader, was granted a licence (pdf, 1318KB) on 18 February 2010. He originally intended to operate under the trading name Your First Class Male but, following the public consultation on his licence application, Mr McGrath changed his trading name to Bolton Logistics.

Under the licensing arrangements:

• he must comply with the Mail Integrity Code and the Common Operational Procedures Code.
• licensed area mail carried by him  will, unless exempted, carry a unique mail identification code marking Bolton Logistics as the licensed operator responsible for carrying it.
