Sean O'Hara, director, customer interest
Sean O'Hara is responsible for monitoring Royal Mail's provision of a reliable universal service, its compliance with its obligations to customers, such as non-contract customer complaint handling, the security of mail, and its quality of service. He is also responsible for all other licensed postal operators' duties regarding the security of mail and handling of non-contract customer complaints.
Sean was previously Head of Connections Policy at Ofgem and Ofgas where he also worked on the opening up of the energy markets to full competition. He also worked at the Office of Fair Trading from 1985 to 1994 in a variety of customer protection and competition policy roles.
